On April 13th, 2019, while returning from Santa Cruz for my first sky diving, I decided to pull off of the road on the way back to San Francisco for sunset. I randomly stopped at Shark Fin Cove and walked down to the beach. It isn't possible to see the sunset from the beach of the cove but it does offer unique views of caves and rocks, with water splashing up against and into them.
Unfortunately, many people have spray painted graffiti all over the cove, making it less ideal for photography. Nonetheless, the rock formation looking like a shark fin and the waves crashing into the rocks are worth seeing up close. Many people come here on weekends and near sunset.
