On Wednesday, January 18th, 2023, I stayed at Cape Egmont. There is a campground there which has an honesty box in which you pay $10 NZD to stay. The campground is next to the Cape Egmont Lighthouse. On a clear day, there are stunning sunsets to be seen from this Western spot on the North Island of New Zealand.
